The first El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant opened on April 18, 1996 at the Alameda & Wadsworth location, right across the Villa Italia mall, now Belmar. Since then the Padilla family has been serving customers with the authentic and traditional flavors of the Mexican cuisine.

 

A second location was opened on June 6, 2006 in Golden, across the Jefferson County building. This location offers a patio for outdoor dining and the best margaritas in the area.

In April 2009, a third location was opened in South Lakewood (Wadsworth & Hampden) to cater to the customers of the southwestern area of Denver. In 2010m the Arvada location opened and in 2011 our Broomfield location. Ever since the first El Tapatio was open, the Padilla family has always strived for the best quality on their food and service.
